What is your title/position?
Social Media Executive
How long have you been with WeddingDates?
What is your favourite part of the job?
The opportunity to be creative every day with my friends.
What is your favourite or least favourite wedding trend you’ve seen over the years?
Favourite – Sparklers for the Wedding Photos. It’s fun for the guests and also creates the most stunning photos.
Least Favourite – Caricaturists. This was a big trend a couple of years ago and I never saw the attraction.
What are your hobbies/interests outside of work?
I love musicals so you’ll always find me singing and dancing along to a Broadway soundtrack or in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A guard, believe it or not. But I don’t think a 5ft guard is very scary.
What are your guilty pleasures?
Reality TV – I know all about the goings on in Love Island or what’s new with the Kardashians.
What is your favourite movie and/or book?
My favourite movie is a movie from 10 years ago called 500 Days Of Summer. It’s a film that has me both laughing and in floods of tears. I think I’ve seen it 500 times at this stage!
My favourite book is The Great Gatsby, which was also made into a great movie. Leonardo Di Caprio is the perfect Gatsby in my eyes.
Do you have any special talents or gifts?
I can rap most Kanye West songs or I can touch my nose with my tongue. But please don’t ask me to do either.
What are some of your favourite ways to spend a weekend?
I love going to shows or concerts at the weekend. And of course it wouldn’t be the weekend without a gorgeous brunch.
Name one thing you’d like to check off your bucket list and why (could be a place to travel, an event or even picking up a new skill).
I would love to see a live recording of Saturday Night Live, as I have loved it since I was a teenager. It’s very hard to get tickets though so I think this will be on the bucket list for a very long time.
If you could have dinner with anyone (alive or dead) who would it be and why?
Queen Elizabeth II, she has had such an interesting life and has lived/reigned through some of the biggest events in history. I’m sure I would have pages of questions to ask!
If money was no object, what would be the first thing you would buy?
A penthouse apartment in New York City overlooking Central Park – a girl can dream!
What is your favourite TV/Movie Wedding?
When Phoebe marries Mike in Friends, I cry every time. They play The Beatles – Here There and Everywhere as she walks down the aisle in the snow. Super romantic!
